Hello John,
With my near to zero technical knowledge of php, I was struggling in setting up aStore on my blog. Couldn’t find good wp-plugin too. That’s when I came across your video. The video and this post has helped me. Finally i got the store setup on a test site and very soon will implement it on my other blogs.

Hi John,

I’m so happy to have found your video on you tube. It’s a real treat! For days I’ve been looking for a way to set up an amazon astore on my wordpress site without using plugings. I followed your instructions and installed on my website and it works perfectly. So, a BIG THANK YOU from me.

Now I want to build a stand alone Ebay store. I will have a look around your website. Who knows what I might find!

@Tia Hi- When you have saved the code I gave you to notepad and changed the inline astore code for your store you then need to up load that astore.php file to your wordpress theme folder you are currently using. There are many free ftp software to use like Filezilla http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client

Look for public.html,then your blog name,then WP-CONTENT then Themes-then upload the astore.php file into the current theme you are using- Then go to WordPress login and create a new page-call it mystore,whatever-on the right hand side look for Template and chose a-store-save page all should work ok-let me know if that helps-I can do it for you but this is a good learning curve for you-Regards JT

Great video tutorial. Everything makes sense so far. I’m having trouble understand what to do when you say “you need to ftp the file and upload it to wp”. I have core ftp and am unsure as to how to execute the next steps.

@Eric,Had a look at your site very impressive-if you mean the sidebars to the right or left-no they will not appear-the idea being to keep distractions away so customers concentrate on your store-One thing you can do on your inline form code is to change the width.standard is 96% put to 100% spreads store across page.do not change height as it will cut off reviews-hope that helps – you can see on mystore I have on photography http://photographycourses4u.com/camera-supplies/ the same structure.

First of all, I LOVED your video. By far the easiest and most precise way I have read about the process. My question is when I tried this http://internetenabledtelevisions.com/store/ the sidebar is completely cut off. My hunch is that it is some kind of a CSS edit I need to make. Im not good at CSS at all. Can you take a look and give me an idea?

@Arnell I am presuming that you have copied the php file to notepad and saved as astore.php -then you need to ftp in your theme file,once that is done when you make a new page you should be able to see on the right side a drop down template box that will say something like” a store” that is the template you need-let me know if that helps,
